Reuse-A-Shoe partnered with the National Recycling Coalition in 2002 to bring athletic shoe recycling to more locations in the United States.
Today, Reuse-A-Shoe works with NRC partners in nearly 20 areas around the U.S. – creating more than 100 Reuse-A-Shoe collection locations and ensuring more people have access to convenient drop-off facilities.
Our partnership with the NRC also ensures that Reuse-A-Shoe shoe collections are performed as sustainably as possible. Because the NRC shares and understands our vision of environmental sensitivity, we work together to promote shipping in the most carbon-efficient way possible.
In addition to our partnership with the NRC, Reuse-A-Shoe also works with a number of smaller partners in the U.S., Europe and Australia, including the Manchester United Football Club in the UK, the Salvation Army in the Netherlands and other non-Nike athletic retailers.
